Our battle in the kitchen- who can make the best friend green tomatoes!?!?!?

Ok I wanted to try a few different fried green tomatoe recipies... so we had a family cook off... It was great two recipies- two teams. Each team made two batches- one by the recipie and one batch playing with extra seasonings.... it was competitive and lots of fun! We prepared the tomatoes then took them to the judge our way nice neighbor/friend Tom!

We took the platter of samples over to Tom to be the judge...Of course he picked Max's team as the winner! I have to admit there recipie was much better than the one me and spencer picked to try- so that summed it up. Max's team won and is now in our family cook book! Fried Green Tomatoes!!! mmmmm... tasty!
The winning team :) Tom needed his glasses and max brought them to him... he said why is everything fuzzy!? We loved our family cook off..good times!
