Looking back...

I came across the pictures of our family sealing from July of 2007. This day means so much to our family! We were so excited and happy, I just had to post the pictures to share.Max knew this was a special day for him and he still talks about the temple and the time we spent there that day. With the elections and the prop on the family, it was a great chance to study the family proclamation and to tell others the importance of family and what we believe. It made me reflect on my family and the gratitude, and love I have for them. I am so glad that we know our families can be together forever-I don't think there is any thing else you could ask for...

Each member in our family is so unique and full of personality :)

Another Halloween party- at the library!

We had a fun time at the library we went with Mandy, Jordon, and Jodi and all their cute kids! There was a craft room where the kids made candy corn things, played play do, and colored. Then they had a room of bubbles and dancing that's where Spence stayed. Max went to the other big kids out to play bingo and a tossing game. Then we all went out side for story time and songs. The kids had a parade in their costumes and then got candy on their way out. It was a fun event to go to and it was another day the boys got to play in costumes... well they have played in costumes all month really :)
We have so many good friends and fun times! BIG HUGS!!

Brawl at story time...

After story time at the library Spencer went down... (that's what happens when you don't listen to Mom at the library...just kidding) It wasn't a brawl really. He was running around crazy like a maniac and fell and hit the alligator shaped book shelf. Yeah, this is Elbert trying to get Spence to laugh-Elbert thinks this picture is the funniest.I know it only looks like a scratch, but I thought it was way worse and we went to the Urgent care and they just cleaned it. Any one who knows me, knows that I am way extra cautious over injuries :) the doctors once again were polite and didn't laugh or make fun of me, well at least while I was there- I was worried because he fell at 11 and it was still bleeding at 2:30! So when we go to the library I never know how it will go. Some times the kids are so well behaved and it is just ideal the way they act. Other days I wonder why do I
subject myself to the torture of chasing loud children and try to avoid the librarians :)

Trunk-or-Treat

Trunk-or-treat was an outdoor chili cook off and carnival. Max and Spencer had a FUN time with all their friends and getting lots of candy. Here are the pictures of their night full of activities... A side note...my chili was the first one to get eaten all up :) yahoo!
Spence, Elbert, Chris and his dad during dinner.., did I mention my chili was so yummy?!It was a perfect night- the weather was perfect!
We had this photo booth set up...
They did a coloring table with pictures and mazes... Jessah next to Max is so cute and adores Max to death.
Max went to the craft table and made a hanging bat mobil.
Bug face painting! He got a spider.
Fishing for prizes...this is where Max was most of the night!
TIME TO TRUNK-OR-TREAT!
At the end of the night while we cleaned up Max-Bug- and their friends traded candy and checked out the goods :) They had to check it out again at home :)NIGHT OVER!

Pumpkins in the park!

Today's adventure was to carve pumpkins at the park!! It is exciting getting ready for Halloween!
Spencer hard at work! He loved playing with the spoon and knife. None of the kids were that interested in the cleaning the pumpkin out-That surprised me because that was always my favorite part squishing the stuff and picking out the seeds...
The little ones were all about helping while the older kids ran to the play ground.
Being silly...

Our three little pumpkins..
It was fun to carve them at the park. That will have to be a new tradition! It was perfect weather and way fun!! Best part was it wasn't too much work to clean up the mess!!
